Project details
The centre provides four indoor and four outdoor multi-sport courts, including two show courts with a performance stage, along with four adaptable programme spaces supporting recreation and lifestyle activities. Functions and events are catered for through a golfer’s lounge, kitchen, bar and outdoor dining area, while supporting infrastructure includes reception, administration and meeting spaces, Changing Places facilities, male and female change rooms and a 250-space underground car park.
The facility now serves as home to basketball, netball, pickleball, badminton, volleyball and tennis across the eight-court complex, while the local golfing community benefits from the established nine-hole course, enhanced with a new Pro Shop and dedicated practice tee. The breadth of what the centre accommodates — from everyday community use through to large-scale events — reflects the care taken in its planning and delivery.
For Lane Cove, this is more than a sports centre. It is a facility built to serve the community for generations.
