Project details
The Clermont Aged Care development in Ryde delivers a new 60-bed residential aged care facility incorporating specialised dementia care, shared amenities and 20 independent living units. A carefully considered staging strategy enabled the construction of the new facility and demolition of the existing buildings to proceed without disruption to residents or staff — an outcome that required detailed planning and consistent coordination throughout.
Situated within an established residential neighbourhood, the project also required sensitive management of access, servicing and construction activity to minimise impact on the surrounding community. All major building services were integrated within a basement car park, designed to accommodate service and supplier vehicles while providing safe and efficient access for staff and independent living residents.
Forge’s role covered consultant procurement and management, design coordination, development approval and construction oversight through to completion.
