The facility has been designed with the full spectrum of residents’ needs in mind. Beyond the core care offering, the development includes a laundry, hairdresser, medical consulting rooms, a men’s shed, a chapel and accommodation for visiting priests — a breadth of amenity that reflects an understanding of what makes a seniors living environment feel like home rather than a facility. Seventeen car spaces and 12 bike spaces complete the site infrastructure.
Forge’s involvement began well before design documentation — working through various yield analyses to identify the preferred scheme before progressing to a comprehensive feasibility phase encompassing design, market analysis, financial modelling and authority approvals. Doing the rigorous work at the front end is what gives a development of this nature the best chance of delivering the right outcome for residents, operators and the community it serves.
