Lake Haven — Mixed Use Development

Transforming an existing large-format retail site into a mixed-use precinct at this scale requires clarity of vision and rigorous coordination from the outset. Forge were engaged to re-master plan the site, working toward a final design that brings together a diverse and complementary mix of uses across 12 buildings.

Project details

The programme was substantial: 13,793m² of large-format retail, 5,800m² of commercial office, 3,070m² of community centre, 2,394m² of retail, 23,879m² of residential, 4,779m² of hotel, 319m² of childcare and 10,159m² of retirement living — a mix deliberately structured to deliver meaningful economic and social benefit to the surrounding community.

Forge’s role encompassed design team procurement and management, consultation with Lake Haven Council, and the preparation and lodgement of the Master Plan — laying the foundation for a development that, at full realisation, will redefine the site and its contribution to the area.
