Project details
The design sets out to do something that matters in a healthcare context: create a calm, considered atmosphere that offers patients a meaningful alternative to the clinical feel of a traditional treatment space. In a facility of this nature, the quality of the environment is not incidental, it is part of the care.
Forge’s role spanned the full project lifecycle — procurement of specialist consultants, design management, budget oversight and cost reporting, development approval, and procurement of the main contractor and superintendent through to construction management and commissioning. Delivering a healthcare facility that performs at this level, for patients with this level of need, demands the same care and precision that the centre itself provides.
