Forge managed an Early Contractor Involvement process in close collaboration with Hamilton Marino, while Become Architecture was engaged to develop the approved Development Application, prepare design and construct documentation and provide construction-stage services throughout.
The value Forge brought extended well beyond programme and coordination. Through proactive planning and design leadership, apartment yield was increased from 37 to 42 dwellings — including the conversion of several two-bedroom apartments into three-bedroom homes — and an additional storey was successfully negotiated, further enhancing the overall return for the client. The kind of outcomes that come from treating a project as your own.
